About Creative Concepts

Creative Concepts is a professional media and marketing agency located in Truckee, California. We have been providing a variety of advertising services and products to a wide range of clients in California, Nevada and throughout the country since 1991.

Creative Concepts specializes in media planning, negotiation and placement. We research, plan, place, and monitor media buys for radio, television, outdoor, internet, new media and all types of print publications for all types of business. We also excel at marketing including: strategy, planning, collateral production, publicity, and promotions. We can create a marketing plan for your business — big or small, based on your budget — and see it through from beginning to end.

At Creative Concepts, we believe in effective advertising at a reasonable cost and service beyond the sale in a day and age where real service is hard to find. Our emphasis is on high quality advertising that works, and making sure our clients are as involved as much, or as little, as they want. You might be able to describe our approach as "no nonsense." We pride our selves on being efficient and dependable, and we do everything we can to make our clients lives easier while making their advertising the most effective it can be. Laura M. Partridge, President

Laura Partridge, founder of Creative Concepts, has been actively involved in radio broadcasting and advertising since 1982.

As the owner, media planner and account executive at Creative Concepts, Laura has the responsibility for the supervision of all phases of the organization's operations with particular interest in the supervision and direction of print, audio and visual production; coordination with vendors; media planning, placement and coordination; and the development and implementation of public relations and promotions.

Laura has an extensive knowledge of advertising mediums, marketing, sales, service, account coordination, working with the media, promotions, and cooperative advertising. In particular, Laura has a thorough knowledge of the California and Nevada major media markets and has developed extensive relationships with the major media companies in these markets.

Prior to founding Creative Concepts, Laura worked at radio stations in New York, Santa Barbara, and Reno. Her broad based experience in radio broadcasting and advertising includes advertising consultant, general sales manager, sales, advertising plans and implementation, promotion development and implementation, sales marketing training, market research, copy writing, production, voice work, public service director, news director, and disc jockey. Laura has been a Certified Radio Marketing Consultant (C.R.M.C.) since June of 1990.

Kirsten Appleton, Senior Manager

As the Senior Manager for Creative Concepts, Kirsten Appleton has actively worked in the advertising field for fourteen years, joining the agency shortly after college graduation in 1992, taking a short hiatus with her children and returning in 2004.

As senior manager and executive assistant for Laura Partridge, Kirsten is responsible for the coordination of advertising materials with the mediums utilized; placement of media plans; coordination with media vendors and sales representatives; promotion guidelines and implementation; production deadlines; client coordination; accounting; and assisting Ms. Partridge in overseeing all aspects of the business.

Kirsten has lived in the Tahoe community since 1985, finishing her high school and college education as well as working for Squaw Valley Ski Team as a Mighty Mite Ski Coach for twelve years and as the Managing Director for the Squaw Valley Ski and Snowboard Team.

Molly Moloney, Radio and Television Specialist

Molly Moloney has been involved in various aspects of marketing for the past seven years, and has been with Creative Concepts since early 2004.

Molly’s responsibilities at Creative Concepts involve research, planning, and placement of radio and television buys and promotions, production of spots as needed, along with the follow-up and tracking of the ads (traffic). On behalf of all Creative Concepts clients, Molly works closely with the stations and their representatives to ensure proper execution of all radio and television campaigns, and develop and implement promotions.

Prior to working with Creative Concepts, Molly worked in the marketing department for Mt. Bachelor, Inc. in Bend, Oregon. Duties there included:

Lillian Waiyaki, Print/Design/Online Manager

Lillian is the “Hunter & Gatherer” of all-important information; working very closely with Laura to compile detailed print and online media plans. Once approved, Lillian is responsible for the management of all print and online plans including graphic design, acting as the agency liaison with representatives, generating insertion orders and handling the tracking and reporting of advertising.

Lillian also oversees the search engine advertising for the agency’s clients and works closely with four major online search engines, including Google, Yahoo, MSN, and CitySearch.

She is currently pursuing a BA in Advertising from the Art Institute of Pittsburgh Online Division and is a graduate of the Art Institute of Seattle where she studied Graphic Design/Art Direction. In Seattle, she kept busy by being active in the Seattle Advertising Federation, where she was on the board as facilities coordinator and working full time at a small advertising agency. Her background also includes working as a graphic designer and marketing coordinator for two large real estate companies in the Central Valley and Santa Cruz.

Debbie Bair, Office Manager

Debbie Bair, the newest addition to the Creative Concepts team, is responsible for all of the day-to-day financial operations of the company. The newly created position is an expansion of multiple functions within the office. Debbie handles accounts payable and receivable, vendor invoicing and trade reconciliation, plus all HR related issues, etc. to ensure that the office is running smoothly and efficiently.

Debbie brings over 20 years of financial experience, having held various staff accounting positions primarily within the title company industry, as well as experience with an executive search firm and home owners association.
